Faerch is the European leader in rigid food packaging and the only tray-to-tray recycler globally. While building on Faerch’s many years of rigid plastic packaging leadership and highest global share of post-consumer recycled content in trays, the company is accelerating the in-house recycling of trays and further strengthening the position of being the only circular tray-to-tray provider to customers. The latter is done through the 4PET platform which we assisted Advent and Faerch in acquiring in 2018.
As Faerch’s new owner, APMH will build on the sustainability journey that Faerch is already leading in and further building on the tray platform.
The transaction is subject to customary conditions and approvals and is expected to close in early 2021.
