FIH Partners advises Axcel, one of the leading private equity companies in the Nordics, on the divestment of Nissens Cooling Solutions.
Nissens Cooling solutions is a global market leader supplying customised cooling solutions for industrial applications, including wind turbines and off-highway vehicles. Today, Nissens Cooling solutions is one of two separate divisions of K Nissens International A/S. Nissens Cooling Solutions will become a standalone company fully owned by A.P. Moller Holding as part of this transaction.
Nissens Cooling Solutions was established in 1921 and has decades of experience designing and manufacturing customised solutions for industrial applications. Today, Nissens Cooling Solutions is a market leading manufacturer of cooling components, cooling systems and cooling modules and a preferred supplier to the world’s leading OEMs in a large variety of segments with more than 1,000 employees. During Axcel’s ownership, Nissens Cooling Solutions has successfully expanded its production footprint, significantly strengthened its position in the global wind market and invested in new product technology and new production.
