FIH Partners advised Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners on the investment of offshore wind in Australia
FIH Partners advised Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners (CIP), in CIP’s investment in Australia’s first offshore wind farm project, Star of the South. CIP will enter into a partnership with the local developer Offshore Energy Pty Ltd. regarding development of the project.
Star of the South is located off the south coast of Gippsland, Victoria. The site is located 10-25 km off the coast in the Bass Strait and has a total expected capacity of up to 2,000MW. Further development of the site will be undertaken jointly by the partnership.
FIH Partners acted as exclusive financial advisor to CIP.
