In 2013, EAC initiated a process with the view to investigate a possible divestment of Plumrose. This process has resulted in a divestment at the highest obtainable price. With the divestment, EAC has been released from an increasingly difficult deadlock situation in Venezuela with an illiquid and risky asset.
