FIH Partners advised Fragtmænd Holding A/S in the divestment of 34% of the shares in Danske Fragtmænd A/S to Posten Norge AS.Posten Norge AS has acquired 34% of the shares in the leading Danish logistics company Danske Fragtmænd A/S from Fragtmænd Holding A/S. The parties have entered into an agreement according to which they will cooperate in a number of areas to strengthen and develop their activities within logistic services until 2015 after which it is the intention of the parties that Posten Norge shall acquire the remaining 66% of Danske Fragtmænd.
Danske Fragtmænd is a leading Danish logistics company within general cargo. In addition, Danske Fragtmænd offers services within part- and full-loads, integrated solutions, courier and warehousing. The company had revenue of DKK 2,2bn in 2012 and approximately 900 employees. The company is owned by Fragtmænd Holding A/S.
Posten Norge AS is a leading Nordic logistics company. Posten Norge has through its wholly-owned company Bring established a logistics company with 6.000 employees and revenue of NOK 15bn primarily through Nordic activities. Bring’s revenue in Denmark is approximately NOK 1bn.
