FIH Partners advised Skandinavisk Holding and KFI in reaching an agreement with NorgesGruppen regarding a new ownership structure for Dagrofa. As part of the transaction NorgesGruppen will acquire Skandinavisk Holding’s 55% stake in Dagrofa and enter into a new set of agreements with KFI regarding the joint future ownership of Dagrofa. The transaction also involves the inclusion of SPAR and SuperBest grocers into the new ownership structure.Dagrofa is one of Denmark largest food wholesale and retail companies through the SuperBest, SPAR and KIWI Minipris formats and through its food service business FoodService Danmark. In 2011, Dagrofa had revenues of DKK 21.5bn (EUR 2.9bn) and 6,700 employees. NorgesGruppen is Norway’s largest retailer with revenues of NOK 58.6bn (EUR 7.9bn) in 2011 and 30,000 employees.
